We designed an ideal SAT class for peak results for that single test. Having to deal with retests and relying on "super-scoring" is not a fun time. Optimally, we recommend that the student take the 7-week summer August SAT to apply singular focus on the exam. The program meets 6 days a week (five days for instructional and a weekly simulation every Saturday followed by test review and debrief). Class times run from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. If the student can make this commitment, we will guarantee their target score which will be determined following a consultation.
For students that are considering taking the March 9, May 4, or June 1 tests, we recommend a 10-week program, two days a week (2 hours per class) with four practice tests leading up to the test.
Small class sizes with a maximum of 5 students
Instant feedback (see below for explanation)
Weekly progress report
Based on scientific research on effective learning, we provide a process of immediate correction of problem-solving patterns. This is implemented by providing each student with a tablet for classwork. Yes, each student will receive their own drawing tablet where classwork will be assigned. The instructor can monitor the work and thought process of each student in real time without having to look over their shoulder or having to wait until the student is complete with their solution. Instant feedback is provided from the teacher's device, which shows up simultaneously on the student's tablet. This can correct any mistakes or bad habits and rewire their problem-solving patterns that typically take much longer to undo and relearn in the traditional teacher-student interaction. Effectively, this speeds up the learning curve, creates an intimate learning experience, and engages active thinking.
